Can we switch from TPE to PME offers, or PME to Enterprise easily?

If you are considering upgrading from a small business (SME) to a medium-sized enterprise (PME), it's important to note that the transition is free if you manage the transfer of your site from the old server to the new one yourself. However, if you prefer that we handle the entire transfer, this service is available for a fee of 150 euros excluding taxes, which includes the change of IP and DNS. Please anticipate a service interruption of approximately 10 minutes during this transition.

 

In the case of transitioning from a SME to a larger enterprise, the transition is free and seamless for you, and your dedicated IP address remains unchanged. Expect a service interruption of approximately 5 minutes during this upgrade.

How long does it take from order to get my server up and running?

Typically, the process begins on the day following the signing of your purchase order.

 

However, if you have opted for the transfer of your site from your old hosting provider, it's important to note that additional time may be required depending on the access provided to us. This additional time is necessary for us to carry out the transfer effectively and without disruptions, ensuring that all data and settings are correctly configured on our server. We strive to minimize any unnecessary delays so that your transition can proceed as quickly as possible.

How to automate tasks on shared TPE offers (CRON)?

If my e-commerce website crashes, how are you notified and what do you do?

During the initial setup of your site, we ask you to provide us with the URL that can be used for testing and verifying the proper functioning of your site.

 

In the event that slowness or a lack of response is detected, our escalation systems are automatically activated. You do not need to worry about this, as we handle this management automatically and proactively.

Your services speaks of active monitoring 24 hours a day. How does monitoring work and what happens in case of breakdown?

We have implemented an automated monitoring system using robots that regularly check the proper functioning of our entire server infrastructure, every 30 seconds.

 

If, after 7 attempts (approximately 3.5 minutes), no response is received, our system generates an alert that is immediately forwarded to our on-call service. At the same time, an automated resolution attempt is initiated to restore the service.

 

However, if after 10 minutes the service has not been restored, our Level 1 technical on-call team is mobilized to manually address the alert. This service is operational 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to ensure a constant response.

 

In the most complex situations, if our Level 1 technical on-call team is unable to restore the service, they escalate the issue to our Level 2 team. Members of this team have in-depth knowledge of your e-commerce platform, whether it's Prestashop or Magento, and are capable of effectively resolving complex issues that may arise. Our goal is to ensure maximum availability of your website by ensuring that any anomalies are quickly identified, reported, and resolved by our team of experts.

 

How does technical support work?

It can be requested by email. When you install your server, you will be given a machine name. Indicate it in your email (or failing this, mention the IP address assigned to your machine) so we can recognize the host. Remember to clearly specify your request.

Are there any backups? If yes, what is the backup policy?

All data of your server is backed up daily.
Each night, a backup of your data and databases is made in an accessible folder (/backup/internal).
Another backup, external this time, is performed based on your entire machine, including the system. We can thus put your server back online even in the event of a disk crashes on simple request.
Finally, a backup option for 21 rolling days is proponed. You can for example ask to restore files of the -13 day if you wish.
Backup on 21 rolling days is provided on another Data Center to prevent a physical problem one the center that hosts your server.

How is the security of my server ensured?

Each server is protected at it's delivery. Several techniques are used:
- The firewall, which blocks unnecessary outgoing and incoming ports (you can ask to add more ports if needed),
- Anti-intrusion systems, which monitor authentication attempts (Fail2Ban). For example, multiple bad passwords blocks accesses to the server,
- Abnormal call which decreases the speed. The IP is restricted if it consumes the bandwidth abnormally and over a long period.

I am hosted elsewhere. Who is in charge for transferring my site if I sign with you?

You can do this if you wish. An option is included in each proposal. In which case, we will do the transfer for you.

What is the duration of engagement?

The duration of engagement is linked to invoicing. A termination may be made at any time, with effect at the end of the current month.
